Dear GATFACS Member

As your VP of Awards, I want to highly encourage you to complete the application process.  You DO NOT have to be nominated.   You can nominate yourself.

To apply for awards you must be a GATFACS member by September 15.  The  awards categories are: 

GATFACS Postsecondary Teacher of the Year-postsecondary FACS teacher/educator not eligible for GATFACS Teacher of the Year
GATFACS Administrator of the Year-CTAE administrator, program specialist not employed as teacher or guidance professional
GATFACS New Teacher of the Year – full-time classroom/laboratory FACS teacher in middle, secondary or postsecondary teaching with 3-5 years’ experience
GATFACS Teacher of the Year - full-time classroom/laboratory FACS teacher in middle, secondary school level
GATFACS Guidance Award-full-time school counselor and/or career development professional involved in CTAE
GATFACS Carl Perkins Outstanding Service Award – individual GATFACS member who has displayed a dedication to the improvement of FACS impact the lives of individuals and communities
GATFACS Policymaker of the Year Award-state recognized policymaker who has made a contribution of state, regional and/or national significance to FACS

Entries must be recieved by November 30th.  Don’t be late, turn them in soon.
