Kat Snelson
Region 9 Vice President

Kat Snelson (Kathryn) serves as the Region 9 Vice President for the 2025–2028 term and teaches Family and Consumer Sciences at Bradwell Institute in Hinesville (Liberty County). She has spent most of her career teaching the Early Childhood Education pathway. Kat holds a B.S.Ed. in FACS (2002) and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction (2023) from Georgia Southern University, along with an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction (2025) from Liberty University.
Kat loves serving as an FCCLA adviser and watching her students grow as leaders while traveling across the country. Fun facts: She’s an avid reader who loves dachshunds, collecting spoons, all things purple, and trips to the beach or mountains
