Brooke Lewis Slamkova
Region 3 Vice President

Brooke Lewis-Slamkova has been teaching for 23 years. Eight years ago, she switched from teaching interrelated special education to teaching nutrition and food science. Her passion is healthy, great tasting food and healthy lifestyle choices to improve her students’ standard of living. She has won the GATFACS New Teacher of the Year Award, Carl-Perkins Community Service Award, and recently became a national FCCLA Master Adviser. She has also complete Nutrition and Food Science Industry certification twice.
